Jesse Johnson, Co-Founder/CEO of QCollection

Jesse is the co-founder of Q Collection & Q Collection Junior – leaders in designing adult and children’s furniture and textiles that are PEOPLE SAFE and PLANET SAFE.  Q Collection Junior designed the country’s first cribs certified to ensure that your child’s room is free of indoor air pollution and is the only children’s furniture and bedding collection endorsed by the country’s leading non profit focused on children’s environmental health, Healthy Child, Healthy World.  Q Collection’s advisory board includes some of the country’s most preeminent environmental leaders, including Dr Eric Chivian, a Nobel Peace Prize winner.  

Jesse has a joint masters in business (MBA) and environmental management (MEM) from Yale University.  Jesse currently serves as a member of Yale's Environmental Leadership Council and is an advisor to Harvard’s Center for Health and the Global Environment.  He serves on the boards of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) and 1% For The Planet (founded by Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia).

Jesse completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University. His wife, Mary, is a consultant in the field of woman's environmental health and his son (born in 2006) is a senior product tester with Q Collection Junior.  Jesse’s passions include fly fishing, cycling, exploring the outdoors and doing just about anything with his son.
